Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 21, 2026
BestTurmericSupplement.com (the "Site," "we," "us," or "our") is an independent product-review, education, and comparison resource operated by Micawber Media LLC. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit the Site, how we use and share it, the advertising and analytics technologies we use, and the privacy rights you have. By using the Site, you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Information We Collect
We do not ask you to create an account, and any purchase you make is completed on the retailer's own secure checkout (mefirstliving.com or Amazon.com), which is governed by that retailer's own privacy policy — not this one. We do not collect your payment information, and we do not collect phone numbers.
Information you give us directly. If you choose to sign up through an on-site offer (for example, to receive a discount code), we collect the first name and email address you submit. Providing this is entirely optional. When you submit it, you are opting in to receive marketing and promotional emails, and your information is added to our email marketing list (see Section 4). You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
Information collected automatically. We collect limited technical and usage information through the analytics and advertising technologies described in Section 2, including:
- Device & browser data: IP address (which may be truncated/anonymized), browser type, operating system, device type, and screen size.
- Usage data: pages viewed, links and buttons clicked, scroll depth, time on page, audio-player interactions, referring/exit pages, and the search terms or ad that brought you here.
- Approximate location: a general, non-precise location (such as region or city) inferred from your IP address. We do not collect precise GPS location.
- Advertising identifiers & tracking parameters: cookie IDs, pixel-based identifiers, and campaign/click parameters (for example, UTM tags or an ad-click identifier) passed to us or forwarded to a retailer so a purchase can be attributed to a campaign.
2. Cookies, Pixels & Tracking Technologies
Like most websites, we and our third-party partners use cookies, web beacons, pixels, software development kits, and similar technologies ("Tracking Technologies") to operate the Site, measure performance, and measure and improve advertising. These technologies may collect information about your interactions with the Site, including through automatic capture of page interactions, and may combine it with information collected across other websites and over time. Specifically, we use:
| Technology | Provider | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Google Analytics 4 (GA4) | Google LLC | Aggregate site analytics: traffic sources, page performance, engagement, and cross-domain measurement between this Site and mefirstliving.com. |
| Meta Pixel & Conversions API (CAPI) | Meta Platforms, Inc. | Measure the performance of our advertising on Facebook and Instagram, attribute conversions, and build/measure advertising audiences. The Conversions API sends certain event data to Meta from our server-side integration in addition to (or instead of) the browser. |
| Amazon Associates & Amazon Attribution | Amazon.com, Inc. | Attribute clicks and qualifying purchases to our referrals and advertising campaigns. |
| Google Tag / advertising cookies | Google LLC | Conversion measurement and, where applicable, remarketing. |
Some Tracking Technologies are "first-party" (set by us) and some are "third-party" (set by the providers above). Third-party providers process the data they collect as independent controllers under their own privacy policies. We do not control, and are not responsible for, those third parties' data practices. See: Google Privacy Policy, Meta Privacy Policy, and Amazon Privacy Notice.
3. Consent to Tracking & Communications Recording
Please read this section carefully. By continuing to browse and use the Site, you acknowledge and expressly consent to the following:
- We and our third-party analytics and advertising partners (including Google and Meta) may use Tracking Technologies to record, capture, and analyze your interactions with the Site — including pages viewed, clicks, taps, scrolling, and other on-page activity — and may share that information with those partners as described in this Policy.
- This activity may be treated under some laws as the collection, recording, or "reading" of electronic communications. To the extent any recording, capture, or interception of your interactions with the Site occurs, you consent to it, and you consent to our third-party service providers acting on our behalf in doing so. This consent is intended to satisfy applicable federal and state wiretapping, eavesdropping, and privacy statutes, including the California Invasion of Privacy Act (CIPA).
- We do not use session-replay technology that records keystrokes into form fields, and we do not collect information you type on retailer checkout pages (those pages are operated by the retailer, not by us).
- If you do not consent to these Tracking Technologies, you should not use the Site, and you may disable or block cookies and tracking using the methods described in Sections 8 and 9.
4. How We Use Information
- Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site and its content.
- Understand how visitors find and use the Site so we can improve our reviews, rankings, and layout.
- Measure, attribute, and optimize our advertising and referral campaigns.
- Send marketing and promotional emails (including discount codes, product information, and related offers) to addresses submitted through our on-site sign-up, until you unsubscribe.
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security incidents, and technical issues.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
Email marketing & your choices. We use a third-party email service provider (Mailchimp, operated by Intuit) to send and manage these emails. If you sign up, your first name and email are stored and processed by that provider on our behalf under its own privacy terms. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops future marketing emails. You may also email us at the address in Section 14 to be removed. We send email only to people who opted in through the Site; we do not sell your email address.
5. How We Share Information
We do not sell your name, email, or contact information (we do not collect it). We may share the automatically-collected technical and usage information described above with:
- Analytics & advertising providers (Google, Meta, Amazon) to perform the measurement and advertising functions described in Section 2. Under some state privacy laws, our use of advertising cookies and pixels may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. See Sections 7 and 8 for your opt-out rights.
- Retailers to whom we refer you (mefirstliving.com, Amazon), which may receive campaign/click attribution parameters when you click through.
- Email service provider (Mailchimp / Intuit) that stores and delivers our marketing emails to addresses you submit, acting as our processor.
- Service providers that host the Site and provide security and technical services, under contracts limiting their use of the data.
- Legal & safety recipients when required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights, safety, and property.
- Business transfers in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.
6. Advertising, Affiliate & Attribution Relationships
This Site is an advertising-supported publication. We may earn a commission or other compensation when you click a link or make a purchase through the Site, including through the Amazon Associates program and through a direct business relationship with the brand we rank first (Me First Living). This relationship is disclosed in our How We Rank page and does not change the price you pay. Rankings reflect our editorial assessment.
7. Your Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA & Other State Laws)
Depending on where you live (including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws), you may have the right to:
- Know / access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
- Delete personal information we have collected, subject to legal exceptions.
- Correct inaccurate personal information.
- Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information and of targeted/cross-context behavioral advertising.
- Non-discrimination for exercising your rights.
Because we do not collect account or contact information, the personal information we hold is generally limited to online identifiers and device/usage data tied to cookies. You can exercise your opt-out rights directly using the tools in Sections 8 and 9, or you can contact us at the address in Section 14 to submit a request. We will verify your request to the extent required by law; for identifier-based data, verification may require information sufficient to associate your request with the relevant device or cookie. You may use an authorized agent where the law permits.
8. "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" & Opt-Out Signals
You have the right to opt out of the use of advertising cookies and pixels that may constitute a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under California and other state laws. To opt out:
- Global Privacy Control (GPC): We honor the Global Privacy Control browser signal where required by law. If your browser or extension sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a valid request to opt out of sale/sharing for that browser.
- Browser cookie controls: Block or delete cookies in your browser settings (see Section 9).
- Provider opt-outs: Use the provider-specific tools in Section 9.
- Contact us at the email in Section 14 with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share."
9. How to Opt Out of Analytics & Ads
- Google Analytics: install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
- Google Ads personalization: adjust Google Ad Settings.
- Meta / Facebook & Instagram ads: adjust your Meta Ad Preferences.
- Industry opt-out pages: DAA WebChoices and NAI opt-out.
- Browser controls: most browsers let you block or delete cookies and clear site data in Settings › Privacy.
Note: opting out does not stop all data collection required to operate and secure the Site, and it may reset if you clear cookies or use a different browser or device.
10. Data Retention & Security
We retain automatically-collected data for as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy or as required by law; analytics providers apply their own retention periods. We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Children's Privacy
The Site is intended for adults 18 and older and is not directed to children under 13 (or 16 where applicable). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Users Outside the United States
The Site is operated in the United States and intended for U.S. visitors. If you access it from outside the U.S., you understand your information will be processed in the U.S., which may have different data-protection laws than your country.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Changes are effective when posted, and we will update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
